Location: Lawson’s Finest Liquids (155 Carroll Rd, Waitsfield VT). Outdoors in the Beer Garden. There is a parking lot with plenty of parking. Drive through the big long driveway (past the actual building), then backtrack to the event area. We will have a large 20×20 tent set up over the tables (because rain is in the forecast).
- Snacks/drinks if you’d like. Optional: There is also food/drink available for purchase inside Lawson’s Taproom. (If you think you might want to order food/drink indoors, we recommend arriving 15-20 mins early to get that process started).
- Lawsons has Adirondack chairs set up. You’re welcome to bring camp chairs, any other kind of alternate seating if you prefer.
- We’ll have cover from the rain under the tent, but probably a good idea to bring an umbrella for traveling from the parking lot or between the Beer Garden and the building (if you’re going indoors to access the bathroom or order food/drinks).
- Forecast calls for temps in the mid 50s, so we recommend dressing in layers for warmth.
What to expect:
I’m going to do a reading from Chapter 1 of the book. Beck Natale will lead us in a Q&A and discussion about the book and the big picture of neuroinclusion.
All forms of participation are welcome:
- You can ask questions with mouth words or written on index cards
- Observation is a valid form of participation
- No expectation of small talk
