Neurodivergent Vermonters are organizing a new mutual aid effort to supply each other with medicines, groceries and ways to take action during an uncertain time.
The effort, led by the Montpelier-based community health organization All Brains Belong, began earlier this month in response to proposed cuts to Medicaid.
Community members like Amy Noyes, a 50-year-old Plainfield resident who is both a patient at All Brains Belong and a member of one of its advisory boards.
They helped build the new All Brains Belong Community Health Access Fund, which has an online registry where people can purchase over-the-counter medications, food gift cards and air purifiers for whoever needs them.
