Supporting access in healthcare, workplaces, and community events
We all have different things we need to participate comfortably. These tools help both leaders and participants learn what those things are. They are for everyone, not just people who have asked for accommodations.
Universal design means offering everything in multiple different ways. Then people can choose what works best for them. When everyone is offered many ways to participate, no one has to single themselves out. People feel more comfortable talking about what they need.
These tools are for:
- Healthcare practices welcoming new patients
- Employers onboarding new employees
- Community organizations hosting events
- Anyone exploring what they need and looking for ideas
