Universal Design for Participation Webinar

Universal Design for Healthcare, Employment & Community Events

Webinar presented by Mel Houser, M.D., Executive Director, All Brains Belong VT

This webinar will be presented 10/13/2026 (Zoom + recorded) by Dr. Mel Houser, M.D.,  Founder and Executive Director of All Brains Belong VT.

What is this about?

We all have different things we need to participate comfortably. These tools help both leaders and participants learn what those things are. They are for everyone, not just people who have asked for accommodations.

Universal design means offering everything in multiple different ways. Then people can choose what works best for them. When everyone is offered many ways to participate, no one has to single themselves out. People feel more comfortable talking about what they need. Our new Universal Design for Neuroinclusive Participation toolkit provides practical strategies for making this happen.

This webinar provides ideas for using this toolkit in everyday life — in healthcare, in workplaces, and community settings.
